Marieke Rodenburg (Groningen 1978) is a freelance filmmaker, with her production company she produces, directs , films and edits documentaries, filmportraits or commissioned work. Often with a focus on social rights/cultural issues, or with a historical angle.
Next to that she is an engaged teacher in filmstudies, videoproduction , facilitates media art workshops and collaborates with different artists, colleagues in and outside the audiovisual world. She lived and worked in Zimbabwe, South Africa, Belgium and currently in Muiden and works Amsterdam.
