The Disney+ series "Alice and Steve", written and created by Sophie Goodhart, was the big winner of Canneseries 2026, taking home the Best Series award, a Special Interpretation Award, and a Student Award. The Belgian short format series "Boho", created by Abbie Boutkabout, won in its category, while the Flemish docuseries "The Deal With Iran" by brothers Lennart and Maarten Stuyck won the award for Best Docuseries. The Screenplay Award went to Marta Bassols, Marta Loza, and Almudena Monzú for "I Always Sometimes", and the Performance Award to Roosa Söderholm for "Guts".
