KRO-NCRV will broadcast the documentary *Credible Messengers Amsterdam* on Sunday, April 19 at 10:40 PM on NPO 2. Directed by Maria Mok and Meral Uslu and produced by Mok & Uslu, the film follows experts by experience with a criminal past who, operating from a former warehouse in Amsterdam-North, guide young people at risk of sliding into crime. These so-called credible messengers gain the trust precisely because of their background that regular care providers lack. The approach, supported by the police, the justice system, and the Municipality of Amsterdam, combines personal coaching with trauma processing and talent development. For a year, the documentary follows how young people like Clayton, Jedi, and young women guided by Saviera work step by step towards a new perspective.
