At the Tampere Film Festival, Mariam Khatchvani's Inherited Silence won the International Grand Prix, with the jury praising the Georgian film's sharp narrative approach to exposing the normalization of domestic violence and the social structures that perpetuate it. Leona Cauklija's Swedish documentary Son won Best Documentary, while Lkhagvadulam Purev-Ochir's A South Facing Window won Best Fiction. In the national competition, Jukka Kärkkäinen received both the main prize for The Beauty of Errors and the Risto Jarva Prize, as the jury considered his two submitted films exceptionally original. The Sylvi Prize for Best Film Script went to Lauri-Matti Parppei for Jossain on Valo Joka ei Sammu.
