BAFTA has responded to the controversy surrounding the use of the N-word during the Film Awards. In a letter to members, chair Sara Putt and CEO Jane Millichip explained that Tourette syndrome activist John Davidson involuntarily shouted the word while Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo were on stage. BAFTA has announced a "comprehensive review" and apologizes for the incident. They emphasize that their commitment to inclusivity does not diminish the impact of the incident.
