The film "Julian," by Belgian director Cato Kusters, will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2025. Based on the book by Fleur Pierets, the film tells the love story of Julian and Fleur, played by Laurence Roothooft and Nina Meurisse. After four wedding ceremonies, they are forced to abruptly halt their journey. "Julian" is Kusters' film debut and makes her the youngest Belgian director ever selected for the festival's official selection. The film will be released later in Belgian and Dutch cinemas.
