Venice Immersive has selected the VR production "A Long Goodbye," an interactive experience created by Kate Voet and Victor Maes. The story follows Ida, a 72-year-old pianist with dementia, and allows the audience to experience a day in her life. Ida's reality fades as interactions with objects and the shooting of her husband Daniel bring her world to life. The production, a collaboration between Cassette for Timescapes, Tarantula Luxembourg, and Valk Productions, highlights the impact of dementia and the power of love.
