The EFP Future Frames – Generation NEXT of European Cinema, an initiative of European Film Promotion and Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, has selected ten emerging European filmmakers for its 2025 edition. Coming from various European film schools, these filmmakers have been nominated by national film promotion institutes and selected by KVIFF’s Artistic Director Karel Och and his team. They will participate in a programme of promotion and networking activities during the festival. One of them will receive a month-long fellowship in Los Angeles, offered by festival partner Allwyn.
