At the 71st International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, which will take place from April 29 to May 4, 2025, the short documentary "Honestly" by Eva Nijsten has been selected for the Children's and Youth Films competition. In this film, produced by Tangerine Tree, Peter van Maaren, a homosexual teacher who has converted to Islam, gives workshops on sexual and religious diversity to primary and secondary school students. In addition, the restored works of Barbara Meter, an important Dutch experimental filmmaker, will be presented in the festival's new Distributor's Selection program.
