On October 15, 2025, the first WSAward for Belgian Film Composer of the Year will be presented during the 25th World Soundtrack Awards. This new category, sponsored by Sabam, will reward the winner with €2,500. Belgian composers who created original scores for feature films between June 16, 2024 and June 15, 2025 are eligible to apply. Entries open on April 15. The voting process, exclusively for Belgian members of the World Soundtrack Academy, will run from July 1 to August 21.
